MMX: Kirkham Abbey

This image of Kirkham Abbey was taken with an Olympus E-30. There were gorgeous clouds that day that were fairly slow moving across the sky. The abbey is a lovely peaceful place to visit with some very atmospheric ruins.

MMX: Before and After

This flower was taken at Packwood House on an Olympus E-620. I really liked the way that the leaves curved around the stems of the flowers and the soft interplay of light and shadows on them and the juxtaposition in the remains of the flower that had bloomed and died and the healthy flower underneath.

This is one of my favourite photographs from 2010. Taken from the top of the Roaches in the Peak District National Park it shows crepuscular light rays coming from the clouds. The photograph was taken with an Olympus E-30.
