Faux infra-red trials

S13’s new yearly book project has been announced, and I fancy approaching it from an infra-red point of view.  Now, not having a spare camera to convert or wanting to go down the road of filters, I thought I would see if I can come up with some settings via Photoshop and NIK that could work and give the impression that the images were taken in infra-red.

This particular photograph was a test for the process  on images of statues (which will feature rather prominently in my project) and I’m quite pleased with it.

I want to automate the process as much as possible, so I will need to try the Actions and Recipes out on some foliage and buildings to see how they work.
