I’ve only managed to get out and about with the new AF-S Nikkor 18-35 f/3.5-4.5G ED a couple of times since I got it, but I have been immediately impressed with its AF speed, sharpness and contrast. The images are punchy and used with a small aperture the lens produces pictures that are really sharp front to back.
I am quite at ease with the 35mm range of the lens, but I have still to get used to the wide angle end.
As I use it more I’ll post some images on the blog.
