The picture was taken at Chesterton Windmill on a bright but blustery day in May. The viewpoint is from one of the paths that are cut through the field to enable people to reach the windmill without walking through the crops. The cloud formations that day were excellent, huge and billowing, moving quickly across the landscape. I used an Olympus E-410 on a tripod. I really liked the angle of the shot, and the three or four lone poppies that were in the mass of wild flowers.
I really like this image, looks very summery! Lovely bright colours.
