Taken with an Olympus E-410 in the cloisters of Lincoln Cathedral. As might be expected there were a lot people around the cathedral, and it was difficult getting shots that didn’t include brightly arrayed tourists. However, as I walked through the cloisters I turned to my right and saw this gentleman just standing there evidently waiting and obviously deep in thought so I fired off a couple of quick shots. Within seconds a group of people had come through from the door behind me and had walked down towards him causing him to look up. The moment was gone.
