On our second day in Somerset Mrs M and I decided to go to Weston-Super-Mare. The weather to start with seemed promising, but then spectacular clouds closed in and hovered menacingly over the town, until we were pummelled with rain, then hail and finally a cold wind. But the cloud structures were exciting and powerful with the sun lining edges and sometimes punching its way through.
A traditional fish and chip lunch was duly purchased and eaten, and we continued our walk along the promenade, onto the pier and past Banksy’s Dismaland. We wouldn’t have minded going in, but it’s run was drawing to an end and there were no tickets available.
