I wanted to portray an aspect of greed in this image and one of the most common – if not the most common – is that of love of money and the avarice that this brings. I used my own hand and fired the camera on a tripod with my other. The light on the scene is given by an LED torch with black gaffa tape covering most of the lens, to give a snoot-type effect.
I then processed it in Photoshop increasing the tonal contrast,to give a semi HDR effect.
