Whilst walking through these woods I noticed the light coming through from the end of the path as though from the end of a tunnel. The trees, despite their lack of foliage made a roof or canopy over the path letting only the main light through that permeated from the end of the path as it opened out into fields. A very small amount of light came from the left as the trees thinned out. There was an enormous range of tones and detail in this area and I really wanted to capture it. The image was processed using the contrast grading method, in order to bring out all of the available tones. Taken with an Olympus E-620.
