view – Issues I to VI

view is a free monthly digital zine that is published at the end of every month here on A Sensored-View and is also available via my website, In it, I chose and show ten or so photographs from all the photographs that I have taken throughout the month. Not all of the photographs will be the best that I have ever taken, but they will be ones that I particularly like and also have achieved what my vision was for the scene.

As this project is kicking off in the middle of 2017, I have gone back over my photographs and have created an issue for each of the first six months. Currently, the zine is itself is fairly basic and this may, or may not change as time goes on.

Some of the images in the Zine may also appear in the weekly A Sensored-View blog, but obviously with some explanation about the image, for example, how, or why, I took it.

view is a free publication so, please feel free to download and share or if you feel inspired have a go yourself and please send me a link to your Zine.

View – A new Photozine

Inspired by the photographer, jazz guitarist, web designer and general all-round cool dude, Ted Viera, I decided I was going to make a photo zine. What is a zine? It is usually a small circulation, self-published magazine showing original artwork , prose or in my case black and white photographs.

Taking my lead from Ted, I used the Lightroom book module to make pdf’s showing ten or so of my monochrome images. Like him, I split the zine into issues and kept the whole thing nice and simple.

I’ve called the zine View, and you can download it free from A Sensored-View by following the menu link, “View – a Photozine” at the top of the page. It’s all pretty rough and ready, but I like that about it. To ensure I have time to get enough photographs processed for View each month, I’m actually doing the first twelve issues using images I captured in 2016. They will be loaded up at the end of each month, although the first six have already been placed on A Sensored-View.

Please have a look at View, let me know what you think and do pass them around o your friends, they’re free.
