Sicily 5

The weather for the time that Mrs M and I were in Sicily was sunny and hot. However, we did have a couple of thunderstorms, once early in the morning and another later in the evening. The different types of clouds and the play of light on them made for many fascinating pictures.

The two I show here is Cloud Surfing which was captured whilst watching a seagull soaring in and out of the storm clouds. The second is Portent captured early one morning as a storm heading into land over the sea.

Sea Walls was taken the morning after a thunderstorm. The sea was still agitated and was coming further up the beach than it normally did, to the base of the walls of the old town. The clouds were really like that over the town. Rolling and boiling overhead.

Finally, Ferino is a portrait of a thin, street-wise cat that I saw on the roof of a car bathing in the heat. That roof must have been hot.
