The series of images which I will show on the blog over the next few weeks were taken on the fantastic island of Sicily in the summer of 2016.
Mrs M. and I were spending our summer holidays there and it was our first visit enjoying the history, people and, of course, the weather of Sicily. We were staying in the medieval city of Cefalu and we spent many happy (very hot) hours exploring the narrow, bustling streets, enjoying excellent coffee in the some of the many coffee shops and people watching. I love Italy and I never fail to come away with images that become some of my favourite photographs.
On this trip, wanting to travel light and not take too much gear, I took only my Fujifilm X-E2 and the excellent all-rounder of a lens, the Fujinon XF18-55mm F/2.8-4.
