I wanted to go abstract on this shot and I was trying to find shapes rather than tone or colour in which I could show the title. The simplicity inherent in this shot accentuates the various curved areas within the image, whilst still maintaining some implied movement towards the top of the frame.

Very simple yet sophisticated. Classic. like the shadow towards the top/back of the shot which really adds something but I’m not sure what it is, whatever it is it adds to the lighting. Having looked again I think that it adds depth to the shot. I like this a lot.
