A brief interlude here from the 365 series as it enters into its last third of the year.
I came out of work tonight to be confronted by the scene below. A freezing fog had been slowly getting denser all day, and as night fell and the temperature dropped even further, the street lamps were struggling to push their way through the heavy, freezing air.
The image was taken with my Nikon P300 compact, which I always carry with me and then converted using Lightroom into Nik Silver Efex Pro. I originally did the image in colour but my natural monochromatic feelings took over and so I processed it again in black and white. For a grab shot, I like it.
