On Friday we have a club meet in Northumbria. We’re staying in (what looks like) a really nice self-catering wing of a manor house and we have three and a half days of (hopefully) good photography ahead of us.
As ever in the UK the weather is a concern, but I am reliable concerned by one of our party, JohnM, that he has booked the dry weather. He’d better had.
Thursday night will be spent packing the clothes and photographic gear. I think I have decided on taking two camera, the E-1 and the E-30. The full compliment of lenses are going as well so I can make an informed choice at the time as to which ones to use without the,’…oh I wish I had bought the 25mm’, comments.
Early Friday morning it’s down to Sainsbury’s with Martyn to do the food shop and then we’re off. 4 bottles of Chilean white have already found their way into the Marshall household with the express purpose of going north.
