The weather since the start of the New Year has simply been dreadful – almost constant rain. Although where we are in the midlands, we rarely see the worst of the weather (unlike those poor people on the coast at the moment), the rain has been hammering on windows – driven by gale force winds, every day.
I haven’t had any chance to get out to take some photographs, although luckily I have started a 365 project (my second) so I do have images to take each day.
The assignments for the S13 camera group, have started this year with one that lasts two months, and four images to end up with. Some planning is required before I set off to get the pictures I require.
So I thought I would post an image from about the only time I managed to get out since Christmas, and it was to Draycote Water. It was cold, but at least it didn’t rain. The sun was out, but as usual this time of year, it was very low.
The image below is a shot taken into the sun showing the Valve Tower on the reservoir.
